IT IS NOT HOMOSEXUALITY OR EVEN ABOUT SEX AT ALL. most of the time it is rape, often gang rape. Remember rape is about violence and not sex. It is pure dominating and humiliation of the victim. This oppression happens when the victim threatens a gangs authority, or even as coercion to feel the need to be protected and join a gang and basically be their slave or get beat up and raped.

Please note in most prisons this is not an issue if it's a small one and has good, straight officers. Alot of times these officers are bribed to let things slide. If you dont believe that exists, then overall police corruption must be a myth too. Sometimes these guards are scared as well and agree to get on these dangerous gangs good side.

Yes sure there are regulations and preventative measures, but prisoners are crafty. They regulate makeshift weapons and drugs too, but people still get stabbed and get high.

Prisons are horrible and dont give a crap about its inmates. Most of the time there are not enough beds and mats all over the floor. It's full of disease, lice, never cleaned (why they keep it under 60 degrees), and many people die because medical care isnt given in time even if requested for weeks. United states doesnt want you to know that.
