A man has been spotted jogging naked in Priory Road, between Cottingham and Hull.
The runner was seen by several people near Cottingham on Thursday at around lunchtime and footage was captured by a bemused passer-by. He was in his birthday suit, but for a pair of black boots.
Video captured him on the shared footpath and cycleway, jogging close to the horse fields. A police station is nearby.
Posting on a Cottingham Facebook page, one local said: "We have had a message about a man jogging naked down Priory Road. The man is wearing black boots apparently ... and is very energetic."
British Naturism has published guidance over public nudity in England. Naturism is the act of going without clothes in a non-sexual manner, and it is legal.
The guide states: "The law in the UK is clear that nudity itself is not criminal, unless there is a sexual context or intent to cause alarm and distress."
Although it is not an offence to be naked in public in England, it can become one in certain circumstances. This would apply if a complainant can prove another individual went naked with the intent to shock or cause upset.
