He rose to fame as one of the impossibly wholesome stars of Disney's High School Musical series.
But there's no doubt that Zac Efron, now 24, is all grown up.
And the actor showed some rather immediate evidence of this at the premiere of his new Dr. Seuss film, The Lorax at Universal Studios, Hollywood.
In a video which has now gone viral, Zac is seen approaching a fan to greet them, when he accidentally drops a condom on the red carpet.

Zac Efron made an embarrassing faux-pas at The Lorax premiere in 2012 when he emptied his pockets, accidentally allowing a silver-wrapped condom to tumble to the ground. Despite his role in the children's film as 12-year-old Ted, Efron was 24 at the time. While he was a teen heart throb at the time, Efron exposed the reality of the situation - that he was a man in his 20s who, until that point, had starred in much younger roles. As he posed for the cameras, the High School Musical star couldn't quite fit his hands into his tight jeans pockets to achieve the look he was going for. As a security guard happily offered to hold the contents of his pockets for the remainder of his time on the runway, the condom drifted to the floor. Intentional or not, Efron was starring in more age-appropriate roles, like Bad Grandpa and Baywatch soon after the incident went viral.
Taylor told Ellen DeGeneres during a recent appearance on her talk show: 'We are not a couple. He’s awesome, we are not a couple though. You hear people get together when they’re shooting movies, co-stars.
'But not like animated co-stars. You know what I’m saying. Oh my god, as we were recording out voiceovers on separate coasts we really connected.'
Zac and Taylor then picked up their guitars and performed a duet as Ellen watched on.
They also talked about what they did for Valentine's Day.
Taylor described how she had a 'pathetic single girls party' where she ate lots of junk food.
And Zac added: 'That’s so different than what single guys do. I went to a screening of a film that I did called Liberal Arts. Then cooked some dinner with a friend.'
Rumours began to swirl about the pair after they were spotted sharing a very friendly meal last month.
On January 6, the New Year's Eve star had a 'flirty dinner with the country superstar' at an outdoor corner table at LA's Pace.
Us Weekly described how the pair were 'were deep in conversation and very giggly,' after arriving together in Efron's Audi.
But the pair have been flirting for a long time.
Back in 2009, Efron - single since splitting with Vanessa Hudgens in December 2010 - called Swift a 'lovely girl, very beautiful.'
In turn, the Grammy-winning singer, dumped by Jake Gyllenhaal in December 2010, gushed that Efron was an 'all-around amazing guy.'
